Basic Operation
Quick operation is described here in 2 versions
1) Quick description for the pansy button pusher
2) More detailed for anyone that wants to actually achieve
A far more in depth help system is available online (http://rhino.deny.de/triton/manual.php).
Thanks go to Sammyboy and Geckoo for that because I hate doing all the help crap ;)

2) More detailed for anyone that wants to actually achieve
Sites tab
Choose the sites you wish to verify. These can be either
- Single site
- Multiple sites
- IP range
- Single Netblock
- Multiple Netblocks
What are Netblocks?
- explained within the program .. for anyone that takes a look .. should be quite useful ;)
Paths tab
Where Triton comes into its own is in the Paths manager. You have the ability to attach good and bad keywords to each individual path in your list.
Whilst this may take some additional time in setting up - it virtually eliminates the chances of fakes.
Take, if you will, an example.
_http://www.site.com/cgi-bin/fred.cgi
your path for this would be
/cgi-bin/fred.cgi
and say that you know a few versions of this script - when accesed from the browser they'll give one of the following messages:
- Error - should be accessed by a method of POST
- Incorrect String Syntax
- Invalid number of paramaters
so .. for good keywords enter in something like:
method of POST;String Syntax;number of parameters
You can enter as many as you like - separated by semicolons. Similarly for the Bad, if you know it often redirects fakes to it's page with
- XXX signup
- Join our sister sites
so use:
XXX signup;sister sites
... you get the idea.
If you want to load in a big list then the "Import List" button will take whatever default options you have selected (method, good and bad keywords)
How do Keywords work?
The way the keywords work ... if it finds a "Good" keyword it will count it as a hit.
If it finds a "Bad" one it will count it as a miss.
If it finds both then the Bad will take precidence (counted as a miss).
Connection tab
Pretty easy. The program will function (slightly) faster if the proxies are in IP:Port form .. so a resolution button is provided.
Select the speed and the default timeout
.... hit start ;)
There are more things ... check out the Tools tab .. but you can find those out by yourself ;)
... have fun ...
